“Rain will go away but the memories remain”
— Sai Gon team
The Saigon in the Rain project captured Saigon's rainy season through digital illustrations created by a diverse team.
The exhibition featured cutting-edge technologies like VR, AR, and 3D Mapping, communicating the message: "Amid rain, obstacles, or setbacks, we can always choose a positive perspective."
I served as one of the lead artists on this impactful project. And what was most powerful wasn’t just the art, it was how it brought people together.
The rain, the challenges, the technology, it all reminded us that even when things don’t go as planned, there’s always another way to look at the world. And in that, we find community and resilience.

In Saigon, the rainy season roars,
Pouring from morning to noon,
Drenching from evening to midnight’s gloom.
The city’s climate, like a switch,
Flips from bone-dry to ever-wet, oh so swift.
Raincoated wheels roll across its face,
A steady rhythm, a ceaseless pace.
The heavy pitter-patter's embrace,
Echoes of street cries, a symphony in haste.
Yet tireless feet march on, unshaken,
For in Saigon, rain will dry, the sun will awaken.

Reflection
Reflecting on our journey, I recall the enthusiastic feedback our first design, "Sai Gon Sau Vai," received. We were overwhelmed with comments, likes, a Behance flag, and interviews on national channel, popular social media channels such as Kenh14, vnexpress, rgb.
Seeing our hard work appreciated motivated us to keep sharing our thoughts, perspectives, and love for Sai Gon. I was genuinely happy to contribute to such a meaningful and beautiful project.
